Obituary of Cecil Hubert Henry

Surrounded by the love of his family, on April 27, 2024, Cecil Henry passed away at Victoria Hospital, London, at the age of 85. 

 

He leaves behind his wife Eva Henry.  He will be deeply missed by his children Audrey, Clint, Margaret, Gay, Jacqueline, Ken (Karen), Colleen (Larry), Cindy, Fe Marie (Brett), and Justien. Poppa will always be remembered by his 24 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, and his siblings Pauline Henry, Peter Henry (Audrey), Andrea Earle (Peter), and Bridget Henry.  Cecil was a wonderful uncle, cousin, and friend to so many people in Canada, the United States, and Jamaica. 

 

He was predeceased by his wives Patricia Elvena Henry, Pat Pipher-Henry, his daughter Nevene Elizabeth Henry, his parents Cyril and Daisy Henry.

 

Cecil was a faithful and passionate member of Lighthouse Baptist Church and lived a life devoted to his family. 

 

Friends and family will be received at the EVANS FUNERAL HOME, 648 Hamilton Rd., London, on Monday, May 6, 2024, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.  Funeral Service will be held in the Evans Chapel on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at 11:00 am (Visitation 1 hr. prior), and will be officiated by his dear friend, Pastor Phil Powless.
