Obituary of Marie Fountain

Unexpectedly, at Middlesex Terrace in Delaware, on Friday, March 8, 2024, Marie Fountain passed away in her 77^th year with her loving family by her side.

Marie was a cherished mother of Joe (Cindy), Sherry (Pete), Brenda (Jason), Traci (Mark). Proud grandma of Rachel, Kenzie, Hailey, Shelby, David, Daniel, Samantha, Doug & Great grandma of Parker, Cayson, Bronson, Deklan, Noah, Joseph, Kade, Kai, Dominic, Mason, Ren & Jackson. Marie was survived by her siblings Judy, Pork (Dana), sister-in-law Lise and Donna and predeceased by George, Jack, Doug & Jane.

Marie will be lovingly remembered by her Niece, Nephews, extended family & friends including her cat Jazz who she missed deeply. Marie loved the life she lived for her children and loved to see her grandchildren and great grandchildren, as they meant the world to her. Marie accomplished many things in life by going back to school and receiving her grade 12. She was an honored valedictorian and went to Fanshawe College and received her degree in ECE. Marie had a strong love for bingo, scratch tickets, crosswords and reading. The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to Middlesex Terrace for the most amazing care and love they showed Sweet Marie for the last 4 years and in her last week of life. Thank you to everyone who put a smile on Marie’s face each day.

Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Marie’s life will take place at Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Road, London, Ontario (1 block east of Egerton), on Friday, March 15^th from 2 – 4 p.m. Those who wish, may make memorial donations to Diabetes Canada in memory of Marie.
